The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting daily depot operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch.
Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and move freight within the depot
Ensure freight is handled, stacked, and stored correctly
Assist with receivals, dispatch, and general warehouse duties
Conduct daily forklift checks and report any faults or safety concerns
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Work closely with depot staff, drivers, and supervisors to meet operational requirements
Valid LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience operating forklifts in a depot or warehouse environment
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Complete local deliveries and pickups in a timely and safe manner
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues or defects
Ensure freight is secured, handled, and delivered correctly
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and scanning requirements
Comply with road safety, fatigue management, and company policies
Communicate effectively with depot staff and customers
Valid C / LR / MR Driver’s Licence (depending on vehicle)
Previous driving experience in a courier or logistics environment preferred
Good knowledge of local routes and delivery procedures
